Perrachon Fleurie 18
Perrachon’s Fleurie is raised in foudres like Monnet’s wines. In the glass, it is easy to see where the village name came from. The nose is open and expressive, with a bouquet of violets lining up alongside the ripe fruit. The structure is very smooth.
One doesn’t usually use the words “sophisticated” or “subtle” to describe Beaujolais, but both fit this wine well. It’s also delightful and pleasant.
