Domaine Bonnefond
The Bonnefond brothers (and now Christophe’s daughter Léa) produce exceptional Côte Rôtie – pure syrah with beautifully complex notes of black pepper, cloves, and smoke. Instead of warmth in the mouth, the sunniness in this bottle comes across as energy. They also produce terrific Condrieu from pure Viognier – the height of elegance and perfume.
